Son of Albert who was stationed around the world in the navy
California has always been a place where people and memories come to settle
They call it the golden state because of the 49ers, the endless sunshine
And the promise of easy living in California
Made it a Mecca for a state of mind
But what makes California a State of Mind as someone Californian
People come from everywhere, become Californians and make it their own
I was raised here and here’s some of my story
