the Saviour reigns:
let men their songs employ,
while fields and floods, rocks, hills and plains

No more let sins and sorrows grow,
nor thorns infest the ground:
he comes to make his blessings flow
far as the curse is found.
He rules the earth with truth and grace,

Радості землі!
царює Спаситель:
нехай чоловіки використовують їхні пісні,
тоді як поля й повені, скелі, пагорби й рівнини
повторити звучну радість.
Нехай більше не ростуть гріхи та печалі,
і терни не вкоряють землю:
він приходить для того, щоб його благословення лилися
