That night, around the campfire, the antelope talk about the beauty of the

But warn the girl that she should beware of a terrible menace that threatens

Every night, a ruthless tiger chooses a victim
And steals their most precious gift
They urge her to pay head to the sounds of the night
And be careful to protect her unique voice
The following morning, the antelope sadly discover
That Inez has lost her speed
The next day, Genevieve has lost her dreams
The day after that, Anne has lost her courage
Repulsed by the tiger’s avarice, the girl decides that tonight
